It started with one question nobody was asking renters
Our director, Clive Lorton, has worked in new home construction since 1994 — house-and-land packages, first home buyers, developments from WA to Melbourne and up the coast to Cairns. The company behind Your Property Pathway, Develop Property Pty Ltd, was registered in 2000 to carry that work on; "since 1994" counts from Clive's first year in the industry.
Year after year he met the same people: steady jobs, decent incomes, paying off a home every week — just never their own. After thousands of conversations, he knew something they didn't. More often than anyone guessed, they could have owned the place. They'd simply never had anyone check.
So checking became the whole job. Today Your Property Pathway is a full team — property specialists and client support — built around getting people from renting to owning, honestly and without the guesswork. For home loan assistance, we work with Jeff and the team at My Finance People.
That work now runs across two pathways: first home buyers stepping out of renting and investors building a portfolio. Owners considering refinancing can talk to My Finance People.
Our role
Your Property Pathway provides introductions and administrative coordination for customers exploring house and land packages from our builder partners in Queensland and Victoria. Our role does not include representing buyers, land sellers or builders in property negotiations, preparing contracts, providing valuations or property price opinions, or giving legal, financial or credit advice. Land transactions are handled by the land seller and any appointed selling agent. Building contracts are entered into directly with the builder. You choose and appoint your own lawyer or conveyancer and finance provider.

Your Property Pathway and My Finance People are separate businesses. Your Property Pathway does not provide credit assistance and receives no commission or referral fee from finance providers.
